The 5 000 and the 1 000 korun notes ceased to be legal tender from 30 June 2001.

The period for exchange at the CNB has not yet been set

The 500, 200, 100, 50 korun notes ceased to be legal tender from 31 January 2007. The notes were exchangeable between 1 February 2007 and 31 January 2010 at all banks that provide cash services and from 1 February 2010 at branches of the Czech National Bank for period not fixed yet

There are many differences between the notes currently in use and the 1993 series notes in theses pictures, but the easiest way to distinguish them is may be the lack of graphic symbol on the reverse side of the 1993 versions.
